The primary purpose of the Esthetics program is to train students in all aspects of skin care including skin treatments with and without devices, diseases and disorders of the skin, anatomy and physiology, safety/contamination control, and being able to determine the different skin types so they will be able to perform skin care services as a licensed Esthetician in the state of Connecticut.
Upon completion of the course requirements the determined graduate will be prepared for an entry level Esthetician position and be able to project a positive and professional attitude and sense of personal integrity and self confidence in their field, practice effective communication skills, respect the need to deliver worthy services for value received in an employer/employee relationship and learn the skills necessary to start their own skin care business!
Some of the extra lessons included in this course are popular body contouring techniques, makeup, facial and body waxing, and spray tanning.
We strive to keep our curriculum up-to-date with the most and effective and current techniques and equipment in the industry.
